Africa Market Update -January 2018

We are pleased to release the January 2018 Africa Market Update covering the economies of Nigeria, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda, Angola, Ethiopia and Rwanda. The issue assesses key trends that shaped 2017 whilst providing our outlook for 2018.

On the whole, whereas the uptick in commodity prices promises a tailwind for sub-Saharan Africa's recovery in 2018, the report highlights a number of factors that necessitate cautious optimism over the region's outlook.
